i love all the buildings and areas that facilitate transport. service stations, train stations, airports, docks. they are all amazing.
As a romantic gesture my boyfriend decided to treat me to a bouquet of red roses from Clacket services. Unfortunately, by the time we had reached our house (only 45 minutes later!) the roses were wilted, and on seperating them and arranging them, discovered, much to my dismay, that the leaves were dead, and mouldy. Considering they were a costly £10 I am disappointed with the quality.

at services on M40 after Truck. They were predictably dour.
Now give me my fucking indie points.
Found the services a bit pretentious, Waitrose? Do me a favour. I'm not a Waitrose man. Simple as that. The parking space I was in was second to none, well painted. Immaculate entrance too, well pruned.

He's not a ponce.
Mills, Thompson, Hughes, Neal.
Great 70s porn star tash as well
Cory Delap, who works in the Burger King franchise, is the most delightful employee ever. His happy, smiling friendly manner was a breath of fresh air during a long arduous journey.

There are numerous service stations I have never visited / will never visit because they are too close to home. For all I know, Castle Donington Services might be like Claridges

This is a very well presented latrine with many stunning features, that are well presented and maintained by friendly and helpful staff. I found that the the cleaning schedules were kept to as the mess I left was was cleaned up by my next visit since the the last cleaning time had passes.
I look forward to the winter season change of menu as well, when I hope to see some inspired selections on offer.
yours sincerely latrine user.

I was amazed by the cleaning process in the toilets the other week! I noticed the big countdown clock and decided as there was only 6 minutes left to go i set up my directors chair and prepared myself for an amazing show! Huzzah for a great performance! I slapped that smiley face with pride on the way out!

South Mimms is probably my number one.
Fantastic fish and chips, and the presence of mushy peas means you know you've reached (in motorway sign speak) THE NORTH.
It annoys me when I need a quick piss, drink or petrol and have to go off at a manic junction and traverse several roundabouts, all to end up in a small crappy service station which stinks of piss.
I always think I'm either going to be kidnapped or murdered by a psycho drifter.
On leaving Leigh Delamere for our bus last saturday morning,4 Dec 2010, I realised to my horror , that my wedding ring of 42 years was missing. Having immediatwely retraced my steps both in the car park, restaurant area and toilet and wash basins, I had no luck. I spoke to an attendant and duty manager, both of whom could not have been nmore helpful. I phoned back next day and the shift duty manager again checked and confirmed that no ring had been handed in. She informed me the maintenance person would be in on monday or tuesday, and she took on board my request for the outlet from the wash basins to the u-bend trap to be checked.
I am sure that your staff get criticism from time to time, and it is only fair that credit is also given when due. I had excellent service and attention and I appreciate that very much. Well done. PS I have today found my ring at home , and phoned Leigh Delamere to inform them this morning
Mine is Hopwood. One of those off the Motorway jobbies.
Fancied a KFC on the way home from Redditch
The one at Tamworth is off a huge island and down a lane that seemed to go on forever. A bit disorientating late at night
I like the ones that have a 10mph hairpin and then a 100-yard slip road before being shoved back into 70mph traffic. A bit like joining the M6 at junction 15.
