and the answer to your question is i'm not sure. I think most of them will hatch out of eggs. But I'm not sure.

Also, some insects will lay eggs and then they hatch some time afterwards, whereas some will hatch the second they're laid. And then some don;t lay eggs at all, because they are vivcparous. I've learned so much about insects in the last ten minutes. And now I need to learn employment law. All of it, before tomorrow.

I've never seen her and Scout in the same room. Maybe she's actually Katrina in disguise. They don't look alike though.
lay their eggs into caterpillars. The parasite larvae are capable of actually rewriting the DNA of their hosts, so they are incapable of transforming themselves and are filled with a bottomless hunger, essentially becoming a big flabby feeding tube. The wasps then happily eat their way out of the caterpillar.
