wot r sum?
stuart a life backwards is quite cool, though it's not got loads of narration.
We can just watch Fight Club
Diving Bell and the butterfly?
Any Malick film
The Man who wasn't there (I think this is narrated?)
It's quite hard to remember which films are narrated or not
Stand By Me
The Seventh Seal - one of the best films ever made, and commemorated in the equally fine Scott Walker song of the same name.
The style of the cinematography actually feels like it's first person - most of the film follows the central tormented character and feels actually as if you're inhabiting him.
it's not first person narrated but it is really good. he used to be the fucking master of urban alienation, seemingly cold, emotionless, BORING films. Those first four, man, amazing cinema
or Synecdoche, New York, although the narration in that is second person and only really happens right towards the end
The Passenger and Red Desert should get a mention as well.
Stranger than Fiction. It stars Will Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal. What more could you want?
Is The Opposite Of Sex?
-probably esp. Sunset Boulevard given noir's connection to Camus and all them fellas.
