Get it done
a number of braeburn
they are all gifts from the goddess.
At this time of year I pick them from trees.
SHE has leant the use of them, to me, but I must fulfil my part of the bargin like a good mammal, and deposit the seeds a little later (and a little scarified) on the ground, some distance from the host tree, with a little fertiliser to help them on their way
and I'm the only one from my house that goes in there because the only access is through my room. A few dozen?
2 apple trees in the garden dropping apples everywhere. ate some already in pie and used some to thicken jam
the worst thing about apples in the garden though is when they get hollowed out by wasps. once i picked up the hugest apple i'd ever seen and about eight wasps flew out of holes i hadn't seen. the memory still pains me to this day
i used to love making an apple pie or crumble with them. mmmm.
We had a plumb tree too and grapes, tomatoes, rhubarb and sometimes strawberries (never as good as my grannys ones though)
No, sorry, it's a pear.
