Does anyone use Adobe's Creative Cloud facility?
I'm thinking about signing up for a year.
It's £46 a month, which is obviously quite a bit of money, and not having a job at the moment makes it a frigging ridiculous amount of money to spend on something that is - until I've 'forged' a career in - hobby related.
But, on the other hand, there is a fuck lot of software for that amount of money. I dread to think how much it would cost a non-student or teacher to buy all of this software, but isn't the CS6 package around £1700 alone. You get a load more programmes than just CS6.
Anyone that uses this - before I push the button, would you advise buying CS6 and other pacakges on finance, or do you consider the creative cloud facility a better option? I mean, I'm a complete novice in this area, so I don't want to be in an 'all the gear and no idea' situation, but I am desperate to change career, so will need all of the tools eventually. To buy the bare minimum and then move on to what I need to launch sites, etc, could be more costly than going for this option.
The other thing that concerns me is the instruction manuals. Are all adobe instructions now web based? I'm a stickler for an actual physical manual, but if the instructions are web based and not actual manuals, then the creative cloud option won't make any difference.
