I can't look up medical conditions myself on the internet because I get super paranoid.
because I have like every single one of those ticked right now :(
OK thread over (cheers GB genuinely I can't look these things up myself).
Substance abuse, lack of exercise and mental stimulation, mental illness, other environmental factors could cause the above too. See your GP.
I also feel anxiety just before bed and suffer from sleep paralysis. My intake of illicit substances tends to sky rocket threw the roof and my motivation to do anything plummets
If you wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep because you're worried about something - that's a sure sign imo.
I had a tight chest two days running, hours at a time, a couple of weeks ago.
reckon I might die young from a stroke or a heart attack.
you know how much i hate them. But to be honest, they are doing me the world of good. (apparently they're not for my moods this time but tbh it's helping a lot)
I just hate how numb it makes me feel. No free thinking.
Get yourself to the doctors and see if he can help you out. Maybe some CBT or counselling would be the way forward?
Different people have different levels of what they can cope with. Some are able to power through periods of chronic anxiety with the use of certain coping mechanisms. Others will fall apart very quickly. It also depends how long it's been going on for. The worst anxiety I've ever felt was after downing 8 pro-plus, but obviously that went away after a couple of agonising hours.
This is what it boils down to: if you're feeling unable to cope with the level of stress you're feeling, definitely go and see a GP.
You don't eat much.
You don't sleep much.
You lose your libido.
You avoid spending time with your friends.
if you can't look up medical conditions because you're super-paranoid, i think that's a sign
...then it dawns on you when you're up in the middle of the night, eating jam sanwiches, pacing round the house and wondering when that dull ache in your chest is going to go away first or if it will get light outside before that...
I'm ticking a lot of boxes here as well, may be time to go see the doctor...
like you might take a shit in the middle of asda?
don't ignore those warning signs
