Long distance travel can count, I guess.
Me - 50 hours, Glastonbury 2005.
claims 2 weeks.
Not sure that's possible.
Somehow, easier to believe in his case
considering the drugs they probably took to achieve this
It was on Little Howard's Big Question.
I'm rubbish at staying awake.
Started hallucinating and imagining there were hundreds of insects flying around me. Went to bed.
felt very ill by the end.
just a regular week, but i had spells of transient insomnia at the time.. by the end i didn't know whether i was awake or not and life was much simpler
went to sleep on friday afternoon and woke up saturday evening and went to see Pirates of the Caribbean
Arrived in Tokyo at 6am on the Friday, and didn't sleep until 4am on the Sunday.
I think that makes it 80 hrs - 8 for time difference = 72 hrs.
I was very drunk, and threw up a little.
Walls started coming towards me. I went to bed.
Although it'd be misleading to say I was awake for the last 20-odd hours of it- I just wasn't quite asleep.
I am tired most if not all of the time.
I can't stay up.
Was there a reality TV programme where contestants had to stay awake? Have I just made that up?
When the guy stopped because he was hallucinating chocolate butterflies all around him :')
not sleeping enough is the second worst
not sure i've done much over 30
but I did cycle 254 miles straight.
during my finals.
I spent a fair bit of time live blogging my downward spiral on this very board
I got 58 for it if I remember correctly. Pretty sure it was the lowest grade of my degree.
which involved me waking up in Boston (having had about 3 hours sleep) travelling to new york, having a night out in new york, going to new jersey, flying from nj to london, getting a megabus from london to bristol, then walking up park street at 3am in the morning back to my own bed. It was fun.
Toward the end I start having vivid surreal daydreams/crossover hallucinations about hamburger men (literally, men made of hamburgers) and had Sesame Street's Big Bird questioning my existence. Never again.
Essay times in uni
I think I stayed awake for pretty much the first 3 days (I was young, wild & on way too many drugs)
Got an 80 for it too.
Feel asleep on a chair in the middle of the afternoon with an unwrapped but untouched chocolate bar in my hand. Woke up a couple of hours later still in the chair but with two bites taken from the chocolate bar.
Put the chocolate bar down and went and got into bed.
Went to work on a friday then straight out to the pub then to a club in glasgow -> back to flat party -> in pub all day next day & went to a club in Edinburgh on the saturday night -> back to another house party in glasgow then back to my mates flat where I eventually fell asleep.
Needless to say that was about 7 years ago and don't do that type of thing anymore.
At some point around 39 hours I took magic mushrooms. It proved to be a bad combination...
then sleep on the 4th (though it's always fitful and sleep paralysis and stuff after so long) so I dunno, 80 ish.
