BUT NOT TOO MUCH!
Nut yeah make it proper creamy and lush, totally calorific but SO SO SO worth it.
did you know you can freeze boiled potatoes? well yes you can, as longas you cover them in a little flour and they are perfect for roasting etc. thank me whenever

sweat them down in a massive pan. Then I freeze them in single-onion sized bags. You then have to just thaw it out the night before (or chuck it in frozen if you dare) and you don't have to faff with chopping and frying an onion for recipes. You can do the same for chopped bacon also. Doesn't seem like much but once I had a whole week where everything I cooked involved chopping and frying an onion. Takes a good while in total from start to finish, so may as well just do it all in one whack.
As for freezable meals, I do a pork shoulder casserole / curry that works quite well. You just buy a boned pork shoulder, they are dead cheap. Pot roast with some borlotti beans, you can add curry seasoning or jerk seasoning or whatever. Give it a good 3 hours then the meat falls apart. Shred it all up and freeze.
