pretty much every job I have I love the idea of getting sacked hah.
it would mean I wouldn't have to work in that shithole anymore.
I've often had the same feelings, because the consequences simply aren't that harsh - i've not got a mortgage or kids, and so the thought of being without a full-time wage for a period of time has never really scared me.
As you get a bit older, though, you do start to worry about it more. You've got to look long-term. There's nothing wrong per se with farting about in unskilled jobs, even semi-skilled jobs, but you will regret it at some point (generally, not you specifically). There has to be a bigger picture, a target, something to keep you motivated. If you're studying (properly, and something worthwhile), then fine, but if not, you'll need to have a proper think about what you want to do.
I'm sure plenty of people are genuinely happy on a low wage, but realistically, you can't own a property, raise a family, or even live to any decent standard, on £200 or £300 a week.
