Just found a Vines t shirt from circa 2002 and it made my day
Im not going to tell her I found it
but i recently found a Crazy Arm t-shirt i don't remember buying and didn't know i had
trying to fish his return ticket out of the U-Bend
potatoes at the back of my cupboard. Been wondering what that smell was.
with programmes for every Reading festival between 2000 and 2007, totally ruined and eaten by mould.
it was a bit rusty. cool as fuck, tho
that i've no recollection of buying or owning.
A brown one. Did you see them at the Apollo? That's where I got mine from.
My sister went to see them lucky bitch. Watch them on letterman :D
I was 17
They played all of Elephant after and inbetween the Ikara Colt. Man the las from the Ikara Colt was very attractive. Hang on was it the ikara Colt on that gig?
I DEFINITELY didn't see Ikara Colt. Might have got there late. Probably did. Only saw Ikara Colt once just before they split up and they were great
You know what, I think I may be wrong I think I saw them in the Apollo when I took my sister to watch The Hives (New Rock Revolution LOLZ) so you're safe. Also at their own gig and supporting Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Manchester.
and it was Rocket Science. Now I remember why I didn't remember. I saw the YYYs when they were touring Fever To Tell at the Academy about the same time and the support was the Locust. They were... polarising, you could say
I went to the one they did in between Master and Fever to Tell. In fact they shot the video for Date With the Night at that show, or bits of it anyway. Terrifying that this is a decade ago now.
Fucking great gig. I'd lost my glasses (at a foam party in 5th Ave ;-/ ) the night before so couldn't really see properly. My predominant memory of that gig is being crushed up against a massive bloke's back while they played Tick at about a million miles an hour
Brilliant. When I saw them I was just struck by how short Craig Nicholls was/is. I remember hunting around for a copy of Outtathaway for the cover of Ms Jackson on the bside
was full of loads of old-timey plectrums and like 5 brass guitar nuts. score.
It was of a baby wearing sunglasses. I was creeped out.
