Why would I mention a music video that somebody else made 5 years ago? I don't even think about it anywhere near as much as you do.
He is/was an aspiring music video director and wanted to make something as a showcase so asked me if he could use me and one of my songs and his plan was to use a load of animal costumes, which he did.

The services seem to vary from about a tenner to hundreds of pounds. I'm guessing the cheap ones just stick your details into a template, but I don't know what the more expensive ones would do. Do they interview you or something? CVs are a right shitbag.
Can't imagine why anyone would pay someone else to do it. Saying that I am happy to charge £50 to kick yours into shape.
Nice layout if you need a short to the point CV for a specific role or bright templates that allow for a kind of portfolio layout. You will have to change your CV for almost every job you have to apply for so it might be a bit pointless paying for one. Look at the qualities they desire in a employee and write your CV around them.
