Anyone here ever lived in one?
Relative to Whitley Bay, like.
does that count?
Bournemouth - not ace.
Up near the University campus when i was a student.
Bournemouth was just really boring.... I went there on a stag do a year ago and it was just HORRIBLE. It's turned into a Newquay style stag / hen party resort. Grim.
There's loads of good stuff in and around Bournemouth, but none of it happens on the Old Christchurch Road/stag and hen crawl area.
on Albany Road, with a bike, about 3pm.
Which one were you? Should've said hi.
with a case of beer from Morrisons.
Lovely stuff. Were you alone? I remember seeing two guys both carrying cases of beer...
though obviously i drank the beer with loads of hot chicks in bikinis.
about an hour later on Oldham Street
Tidworth (twice), Andover, Camberley, Lulworth Cove, Bournemouth, Banff (Alberta)
Bring a million pounds for parking (or park for free outside the post office - top tip).
it does look really nice actually. i think i will take the girl there
coaches full of elderly tourists. Beautiful place though.
This is why I usually pretend I live in London, and why I am always at my girlfriend's house, who does actually live in London
but god damn I had a good time there as a student.
All the students these days are Chinese. We do have some fairly nice new student housing though
Bournemouth - 6/10
Exeter - 8/10
Bristol - 10/10
Was a bit Woolworths.
Nice countryside nearby but everyone spoke in that senile-paedophile accent they've got up there. Supercigs though.
but I think that has been swallowed up by Greater London and now just counts as a tributary. Kind of like when Rome conquered italy and created the stipendariae
A couple of 'em, even.
Not as bad as you think.
you saying there's places other than London and Manchester? pah, I don't believe you
which is basically Zone 10.
Before that I lived in Manchester though and after that I live in Manchester. I've never lived in London, just Manchester then Wrexham then Manchester. Manchester is the best place of these two places.
Bournemouth - 8/10
Newcastle - 3/10
and it's lovely.
thought of Manchester as in that regard.
Then again, Glasgow was the second city of the British Empire etc etc and when I lived in Leeds everyone was always telling me that it was the capital of the North etc etc
Wigan, despite the order, is the lowest in that list.
and 3/10 for subsequent visits.
Went to uni in Leicester and stayed there for a couple of years after - 7/10
I now live in Market Harborough, south Leics. I'm not scoring it yet.
8.5/10, points off for weather and trams
Very hard to buy stuff like pans/bowls etc. Something I never thought I'd be knocking points off a city for
I was chatting to a girl called Hannah on Friday who said she knew you from High Society in Nottingham. Small world.
what's wrong with it?
leamington spa - was nice
kenilworth - ^
Coventry is boss
although canal basin is nice, and that park near the station
Glasgow - 9/10
Helsinki - 8/10
Welwyn Garden City 8/10 but I was a baby
but i never lived in london either
Liverpool loses a mark due to me getting gay bashed last week. true that lad.
Now live in that ther big smoke.
Marvellous place, good food.
Sevenoaks - 6/10. Alright if you are a commuter or retired
Leeds - 7/10. Is good, especially if you are a student.
Hamburg - 6/10. Not bad if you are wealthy enough to live in a decent area. Also contains St Pauli.
Vancouver - 7/10. Pretty nice, although lousy traffic.
Sydney - 8/10. Definitely good, although surprisingly little happening for a big city.
London is comfortably better than all of them by my reckoning. Couldn't say about Manchester.
