as in, do you boil your veg? and if so, why?
yeah, that's right, people still do this...stupid cunts.
let me know
i'll make circles of courgette and fry it in a bit of the curry sauce as a kind of side. that works.
do you never have mash or roast potatoes?
we're talking cauli, cabbage, brocolli, carrot...that sort of thing
i will boil the fuck out of stuff though
Steamed potatoes you say?
Why would I bother to steam frozen peas?
nb - if you use the water for the gravy then no beef
tesco petit pois.
sometimes I use the steamer if that already has hot water. Sometimes just a bit of water for the kettle....
urgh this is so boring... I'm going to lie about books a bit more.
And practiced all the things I would say
But she came over I lost my nerve
I took her back and made her dessert
Oh I know I'm being used
That's okay man cause I like the abuse
Oh I know she's playing with me
That's okay cause I've got no veg in steam
i eat plenty of veg, don't get me wrong, but i'm a bit too busy to stand around steaming it.
if someone else is gonna do all that, though, yeah, i can put away some steamed broc & caul - lovely!
Anyway, the answer is that different dishes require different cooking methods.
However, if I'm doing a stuff to go with mashed/boiled potatoes, I steam the veg above the boiling potatoes.
point two - yeah, you're right
point three - standard.
well done, you've passed the 'fucking cock' test
watch footy, write music, go to work...
steaming doesn't make it taste any better, it is just a faff and a waste of effort. it can even peversely make veg quite dry and hard.
all sorts really
After that - they're cooked to perfection and taste great!
asparagus in extra virgin olive oil -- add salt & pepper to taste -- bon appetit
Nice bit of roasted onion when it's started to go all sweet. Yes please. Same goes for fried onion and garlic, obvs.
Sometimes I boil stuff cos I'm already using the water for something else too and I like to reuse or share water when I can.
