So The Guardian have gone a bit Police mad recently.
There was a story about corruption in Jersey where most of the people investigating the abuse at that kids home have either been got rid of or kept quiet, hinting at a cover up.
Then there was the somewhat shocking story of the amount of cases where Policeman have abused their status in society and committed sexual assault offenses against victims, with the number of prosecutions being at least 56.
And then there's all the riot stories today. Some senior figures saying there's more looming and lots of moaning about the imminent cuts.
The timeline piece about the riot events using the 600 statements they collated is particularly excellent and worthy of your time.
So yeah... the police.
Not sure if you like them or not. Don't really care to be honest. Just thought there'd been some interesting stuff about them of late and you guys might want to talk about it.
