28/06 15:30-16:05, Gateshead, fuckloads of rain and thunder and lightning.
I'm at The Strand and I think I'm going to melt.
thought i was going have to fellate zues.
Good hoppy beer, bit floral for my tastes though.
it's sure hot and humid in Manchester
The rain sounded like it was easing off a few minutes ago, but it's just got heavier.
but the water is coming up THROUGBH THE BLOODY FLOOR. Apart from constant mopping i have no idea what to do.
That building looks really familiar.
Off Scotswood Road, to the west of the city centre.
Sure can't wait for it though. Hate humidity. My scrotum is repeatedly gluing itself to my leg like nothing on earth.
Wait until that hits BBC Weather
We could look out of the window and watch the water flood down Grey St and The Side. Great stuff.
THE METROCENTRE HAS FLOODED.
THIS IS THE END OF DAYS.
They sound really similar
Got a pretty decent view from my desk, for once I'm glad to not finishing work until 11pm. Good luck everyone finishing at 5 or 6.
Flooded all the Queensway tunnels in town apparently, amongst other things.
and the sea has reclaimed all of tynemouth
just heard it on the news
Goddamn I bet he's having so much fun
The police had the water cannons out, there were a couple of dogs in the street having the time of their lives with the jets of water.
Take that riot control!
just realised i've left julies washing out, whoops
The leak is above my head. Fuck knows where this bus is now also. No idea. This is crazy
Just saw a car that was 90% underwater
London is warmer but 43% humidity = okay
Up north is colder (a bit) but 30% more humidity = not pleasant at all
Now smells like smoky bacon crisps
Mental. Meanwhile, in Leamington, it's hot and sunny but my game of cricket's still been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Geordie reet marries goat, like.
i love lightning!
Ended up huddling in some trees at Killingworth lake to try and shelter from all the rain, now covered in nettle stings from it. It was quite funny watching all the the swans scatter around with every rumble of thunder.
Also saw a blueline taxi stranded in water on the way home. Bet he tried to keep the meter running.
Pretty bad here. All metros off I think.
Torrential rain, thunder and lightening.
The storm is making my windows rattle and the TV reception go funny.
