She wrote When Harry Met Sally - still one of my favourite films.
Her films have always been guilty pleasures of mine. Particularly Julie & Julia, love that one. RIP.
of someone who watched that every day for a year?
How could they find something different to say about it every day for a year??
What an absolute hero/mentalist.
This one is pretty hilarious http://www.lawrenceandjulieandjulia.com/2011/04/day-152-simca-louisettes-books.html
<I mean granted, I haven't read either of the cookbooks, but from what I've gleaned from 152 viewings of this movie, Julia Child is perfect and everyone else around her is complete a piece of shit.>
where he finds on of the extras listed as 'Gangster' or something and so he researches their history and ends up getting hatemail
This is nice:
still one of my Top 10 films. Just love the way Nora Ephron & Rob Reiner went about telling the truth about relationships. The scene that everyone talks about is the "fake orgasm" but there are so many better scenes in it. And some fantastic, funny lines - so many truths about how women and men are. Next time a DiSer has an existential-reltionship crisis I might refer them to it.
