I don't have sky.
partridge tonight and new Geordie Shore tomorrow - this week is already great (except i'm turning 30)
In one person's tastes
where arron is at a social event.
arron: i really hate that person
lynne: that person is just there arron
it is humorous but gives you a feeling that maybe one day things will be ok.
That was textbook!
just in case your watching depended on it
It seemed a bit like an underwhelming dvd extra really, a bit half-hearted and didn't make the most of any of Alan's strengths as a character.
Been listening to the book recently which is much funnier.
In fact, the character felt way more like Day Today Partridge than I'm Alan Partridge Partridge. Which doesn't mean to say I didn't like it; thought it was solid 7/10 comedy, equidistant between analysis and chit chat.
is probably best Partridge.
The Nazi salluting Copper Dogs and his re-enactment of the parking fee dispute had me in stiches.
the new LP from Of Montreal, out 4th November.
Or a partrilage.
Felt it ran out of steam a bit towards the end.
Highlights were the swimming pool, council debate and black and white freeze frame at the market highlighting bad grammar.
The swimming pool bit was the only part i didn't really enjoy.
The vicar in the graveyard was AMAZING! :-D
But Iannucci's absence from the writing credits fills me with all kinds of dread.
Also, the film has a release date! But it's not til August next year.
i thought it was great
i thought it was ok
I haven't seen it yet
i enjoyed it. not quite classic Alan, but a solid addition to the Partridge brand.
All the continuity related bits were great: "I'm half way through my journey, if you are just joining us you haven't really missed anything important."
Also the bit where he's having an existential crisis as he goes to the doctors for unexplained reasons, only to come back looking chuffed and throws a celebratory choc ice at the camera man.
Save it for later!
which were top notch Partridge.
definitely more The Day Today than the more recent series'.
which at a pound a year would come in at just under a cool grand.
Ouch! Even a Jerry Sadowitz cameo couldn't save it.
