If a bottle of wine costs £14 in a retaurant, how much do you think it would cost in a supermarket?
I used to work in oddbins innit.
place where they get it from = £3
does 2 bottles for a fiver. Absolutely rotten stuff but you can go to chuff if you think I'm dishing out any more
the bottles are like those big ones you get cheap squash in. like 2 litre, squared bottles. the wine is absolutely fine and just well cheaper because it's not in glass
but you said fallowfield and that's what reminded me of it
go for it and get yerself a magnum of Lambrini for £2.75
i couldn't drink a whole bottle of it though.
he's probably dead now
a 'dirty pint' cause I was a rubbish fresher and it had like beer, cider, something else I can't remember in and mayo (the worst of all the condiments) and it tasted a lot like raspberry ripple and I felt dirty for actually liking it.
Probably the most boring anecdote you'll ever hear
God that stuff is great.
it's just called wine, like not a certain type. Says a mix of grapes on the bottle. idk, nice.
at other times it's overpriced, so it will vary a lot, but probably be available at about a 3rd the restaurant price at some point.
and the restaurant a few doors down would sometimes come in and buy loads of our wine on the 3 for £10 offer. They would sell them for £12 each.
do you want to know howe much the food costs in a shop as well?
my typing is shot to pieces these days
