8/10 very good
where they tell you the acceptable times of the day for eating snacks. I'm just trying to live the best way I can and I don't need some nark breathing down my neck every time I eat a walnut at an inappropriately late hour.
excuse me, gentlemen.
Sainsbury's own brand.
for me, the texture was perfect but it lost two marks for lacking taste and another 1 mark because the skin was a bit more yellow than i like
so was generally past it's prime
-1 for the minor bruising
-2 for slight sponginess and lack of crunch
In retrospect I may have been a bit generous
Just finished eating my entire lunch. Still hungry. Im a monster :(
6/10, but mostly because I just wanted a plain one and they didn't have any.
6/10 ate it too soon. It was the best of a bad bunch, though.
Sainsburys Blueberry Wheats. 6/10
My drink: black coffee. 9/10
egg - 6/10 - put it on too late in the cooking process so the top wasn't as cooked as I'd have liked. the yolk was disappointingly small.
mushrooms - 7/10 - chestnut are far from my favourite frying mushroom but tasty nonetheless.
chipolatas - 6.5/10 - a little bit tasteless but with a bit of ketchup they were still pretty good.
bagel - 8/10 - a very pleasant surprise considering it was a weightwatchers one (they were on offer)
apple - 9/10 - pink lady, enough said (see apple thread)
10/10. Can't wait for my online shop to come tonight, I've got 4kg more coming
Love that crunch with the ice cold milk. I should be in marketing
Stay right where you are for the exciting conclusion to this post.
I was going to cook a tasting menu didnt quite end up being what i started out intending, but anyway
there was the following
greek and scicillian Olives and crisps
1) grilled roquefort on toast bits with crushed walnuts drizzled with honey
2) beetroot and goats cheese slice with tomato cucumber avacado rocket pepper salad
3) halloumi corgette and pepper kebabs grilled but like with BBQ flavour
4) mushroom rissotto
5) fried soya/wheat protein strips with groats
6) chennei potatoes knapped with a mulligatawni sauce
and we had a bottle of carmeniere
we didnt have enough room for sparkling pinot grigio or a strawberry and ice cream smoothie
overall an 8/10 because there was enough variety and I imagine it would have been great If i were just getting it served up to me.
Groats are the hulled grains of various cereals, such as oats, wheat, barley or buckwheat.
Groats are whole grains that include the cereal germ and fiber-rich bran portion of the grain as well as the endosperm (which is the usual product of milling). Groats from oats are a good source of avenanthramide.
Groats are nutritious but hard to chew, so they are often soaked and cooked. They can be the basis of kasha, a porridge-like staple meal of Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Roasted buckwheat groats are also known as kasha or kashi, especially in the United States.
Wheat groats, also known as bulgur, are an essential ingredient of the Middle Eastern dishes mansaf and tabbouleh.
i'm not a big cereal eater but they are my choice
Just vommed it up :(
Sandwich- 4/10 (not its fault- I feel queasy but also starving and it's not a happy marriage)
Crisps- 8.5/10 (lovely crisps.)
Will report back on my dairley dunkers (jumbo tubes) and my passionfruit in a minute.
Dunkers- the cheese dip had gone a bit hard and concealed around the edges :( 5/10 :(
And I still feel yucky.
VETO IT AGAIN
I cannot keep vetoing things. I will starve and die :''(
I think i've managed to keep that last lot down though :) I have coconut cake for pudding, once I let my fag settle.
Camel blue cigarette- 9/10.
Bran flakes are always great.
See my earlier post.
Dunno, didn't really enjoy mine earlier. Sorry.
I did. I spat it out in the bin.
Coffee bean chocolate, no
7 on 10
would've been improved by better condiments
One mark docked for having some shite about the Olympics on the packet.
7/10. Bit cold and stuck to the wrapper with grease, but free.
Smoked Salmon, asparagus tips sautéd in butter, new potatoes with dill créme fraiche & cherry tomatoes
loses half a mark because I had to make it for myself and eat alone
Cereal of the gods.
had a twister
Nectarine, banana, apple (golden D): all 7.5/10
<3 smoked salmon
Far too much butter and not really satisfying. Already looking forward to the steak pie I'm having for dinner.
proper good at making this now. Going to send a sample to Thin Lizzy & see if I can get on their next tour.
it's ok, too much onion though 6/10
not very spicy/too cold/too many sultants/TOO MUCH OF IT
9/10. Not enough of it but for 20p I shouldn't be complaining.
It tasted like smoked gammon - 9/10
MY COLLEAGUES POLISH SAUSAGE. For christ sakes, what more do you want? He said it tastes like smoked gammon!
You're all pathetic.
was pretty average 8/10
an average mark?
have been proper ones otherwise GetOffMyLawn's gonna come down hard on you.
2 points dropped due to disappointment of no minstrels left in the machine.
Cool original Doritos 9/10
Improvising a bit because I was hungry, couldn't be arsed going to the shops, and there was nothing else in the house.
Surprisingly awesome, 8.5/10
either they've improved how they make them in recent years OR its because I was using 1% milk rather than my usual semi-skimmed but they don't seem to turn to mush like they used to and that I heartily approve of
but the Kettle One and soda I had it in: priceless.
TEN OUT OF TEN.
the hummus was a week out of date. It tasted incredibly weird
Living the dream/10
