The Death of Mr Lazarescu - 4.5 years. Can't see us ever both being in the mood to watch it.
Had a bit of a clearout - it did go back about 3 Christmases (film season)
Death of Mr L/Pirhana 3DD to start. Watched by tomorrow morning please.
Think I might also have it on an unwatched DVD. I'll get around to it one day. Don't have a PVR; mostly because Virgin want to charge an installation fee.
That went a couple of years unwatched before being returned. Four screens at once? Fuck off!
My longest unwatched DVD is Three Extremes.
I flew a hooded vulture at Bodiam Castle on Saturday and stroked a barn owl.
Why don't you just break that one down to three half hour vieiwing sessions?
2. get the funk out
I saw that in the cinema and it felt like time had stopped, reversed and then stopped again.
I bought Timecop from Sainsburys about three years ago for the amazing prices of £2 (why do supermarkets have the oddest range of bargain DVDs?) which is still (and probably will always be) in its wrapper.
and it's still in its wrapper. She never did that fox etching I bought her either.
Don't remember ever reading what I wrote in them
About two and a half years. It also seems to be very long.
Until recently it was Silent Light. 'Jury Prize winner at Cannes set in a Mennonite community'. That was on there for about three years until I finally decided to stop deluding myself.
started it but sent us both to sleep, really want to watch it sometime as enjoyed twin peaks but never in the mood.
The current record holder is Mesrine: Killer Instinct. Been there for, ooo, 1 1/2 years now?
I'm going to have a look tonight at mine (excluding the boring Beatles shit my wife has on it) after the deleting of Mr Lazarescu.
In fact, I'd suggest watching it as part of a double bill with 4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days...
(can't believe it is that long since I last stroked a barn owl) and I still haven't watched it.
Maybe I'll watch it next Wednesday.
which I watched this weekend. Now my oldest is Chelsea winning the Champions League (which won't be deleted).
Never seems like a great time to watch it. Same with The English Patient.
It is really good tbh tbf...
Sounds fucking shit.
gives you more time to watch more films and you barely notice the difference
C5 does this. not on really.
even if they are broadcasting it in proper aspect ratio and stuff?
I vaguely remember reading videos were like 29 fps or something
didn't realise this actually happened. Surely it makes everything look like Benny Hill?
but then you get used to it and it's fine
like it doesn't know how to return to 100% properly cos it's hard to believe it's originally that slow
but more like 130%. Had subtitles on as well for any speedy dialogue.
