According to The Sun anyway. I don't get how it's legal?
is that David Baddiel is on television again
That's probably why it's allowed.
I'm more interested in who they are sourcing the drug from. Surely they can't just go through a local connection etc?
but probably a lab
go to any other town centre on a Friday night
*Everyone should get some of this!!!111 it is FUCKING brilliant, honestly!*
They should do a live follow up 12 hours later when he wakes up at 6pm to an empty fridge and no clean clothes for work the next day.
I dunno why it just makes me feel all squeamish. Imagine if they acted out a 'drug deal' for authenticity and the presenter's like standing near the camera a few metres away and talking quietly to camera 'and this is the transaction... note the discreteness of the operation and I think... yes... there we have it David is now in possession of the drugs.'
They could have made a documentary following people with PTSD/anxiety disorders who are taking part in rigorous, controlled trials, looked at the long term effect MDMA has on their conditions, and surveyed a range of expert opinions on the matter. But of course that wouldn't be a SUPER EXCITING/CONTROVERSIAL LIVE TV 'EVENT'. So instead they sit David fucking Badiel in a room with some cameras and give him some drugs. Nice work TV execs.
It's the pretense that they are going it for science that is galling; this is going to tell us precisely nothing useful about the medical use of MDMA. Plus, it's being fronted by a doctor, who really should know better.
It was supposed to be shown on the BBC but was shelved.
because you always have people freely talking about taking heroin or whatever on television without any fear of repercussion. They should arrest the fuck out of those people.
Are they under some special protection or something?
Oasis would talk about taking drugs cos I'd be thinking 'I thought drugs were illegal how come they don't get arrested' but then I stopped thinking it and now I've started thinking it again.
this is how we should deal with habitual drug users...
Leave at least some of the fuck in there? But they really need to get the fuck right out of them, otherwise they'll never learn.
The thing is, you are never going to be talking negatively about a drug that makes you very positive when you are on it. When he comes down he will realise he was staring into the camera talking extremely fast bullshit for the entire episode.
