Does anyone have any experience of chronic social anxiety?
and if so have you had success in tackling it? up until now i've tried to get drunk to deal with the thought of being in a social situation with loads of people, gigs, parties, etc. however getting plastered just creates problems of its own. i don't really want to stop going out to gigs and pubs and so on.
stuff i'm thinking: - smoke shitloads of weed? (i don't at the moment)
- antidepresssants/anti-anxiety medication? (i'm pretty sure i'm clincially depressed as well for some time and not sure whether they link in)
- both?
