Do this route pretty often and there's no better way. There's also a "shortcut" when you're changing from picadilly > northern, if you go to the right end of the platofmr.
nice and quick and not toooo much steppin'.
It appears not.
Probably just as quick to do that as any other way really.
then Waterloo and City Line to Waterloo.
Loads of other ways too that would take less than 20 minutes.
Some are really easy though. Is this one of the nasty ones?
Did one in Barcelona the other week that was ridiculous. Could barely see the end of the passageway it was such a walk - must've taken a good ten minutes to get between lines.
I did see several corridors like that though at various stations.
Story. I know the one you mean.
I dunno, maybe not.
I was just wondering if anyone had any underground secrets (as lots of disers do, if that public transport shortcuts thread is anything to go by). Also maps don't show how long it take to change lines.
northern to waterloo
(p.s I already got lost here and wandered a bit, decided on coming into the least angry looking pub)
One of us is definitely in line to be her long term boyfriend. The artillery arms was quite good (I think its round there), sold castle rock beer aswell which is always worth trying!
I fear that you're in The Angel though.
Victoria/Bakerloo change at Oxford Circus is ok.
but Victoria line to Oxford circus then bakerloo line to Waterloo is easiest - the platforms are next to each other so it's about 20 seconds between platforms. step free too, made plenty of use of this when lugging suitcases between waterloo nd kings cross
Walk to Picadilly is way better
Not rush hour, 59 bus kings cross to Waterloo. If rush hour, bus to euston, northern line down Charing cross branch to Waterloo by tube.
Or rather, I find it hard to believe that anyone would ever suggest it...
i googled "quickest way from waterloo to kings cross" and this came up. definitive answer?
As you're facing the tracks, walk to the far right hand side of the platform at Picadilly, and there's a little shortcut to the Northern line.
