this weeks Parks And Recreation was better than this weeks Office.
NBC, just end it. Please.
for 2 seasons pal. This season it has just found even lower depths to sink to. Michael Scott was right, Toby does ruin everything.
pretty much just by having Michael Scott in it still.
I don't think this season has been the disaster that some people have made it out to be. It's still probably got a better ensemble of characters than most current tv shows, but Robert California just being strange as opposed to funny (most of the time) and Catherine Tate (though she's still marginally better in this than anything else) means it should definitely not continue, and the plots are just going absolutely nowhere.
One hour special, end it like they did with the original. Bring Michael Scott back for it.
What else is NBC? 30 Rock and Community? I'm not going to say anything.
It's been that for a few years.
Parks & Rec has been better than the Office since Michael left. It's so, so, so good. And yeah The Office is really rather poor now.
Previously I'd seen Season 1 and half of Season 3 with a few other bits and bobs.
It mostly made no real sense. However, I quite liked the ending. It didn't seem to be as big a cop-out as all the complaints I'd seen online implied.
What a crazy bit of decision making!
Well I got bored of it, which is why I stopped midway through season 2. But I wanted to see how it finished. At least shit actually HAPPENED unlike when I'd given up, so that was cool.

[this is an unexpectedly good surprise from this thread]
I think the thing with LOST is, admittedly there are a ton of flaws. But it's totally unfair to focus on the flaws when there is some really great storytelling there too.
The last season had loads of problems especially but the general idea was great, and some of the answers were genuinely really satisfying.
The major problems was culling the latter 3 series down to 16 episodes. An extra 6 could have fleshed a lot of undeveloped characters / themes / arcs / mysteries out. But I understand why they did it because the first 3 series probably had 6 episodes worth of filler each
I understood from the stuff about the last season before it aired that instead of flash forwards or flash backs they had a parallel universe where the plane didn't crash.
And if that's the case the ending was showing this parallel world was actually just their afterlife and Jack was joining it as he died?
Originally I saw a lot of people saying, "Oh so they were all dead all along," which didn't seem to be what it was saying at all to me.
The last episode just had the pay-off of the character stuff and was really great, but the parellel universe stuff of seeing their lives without the island throughout the series had some really great and poignant stuff. There was this one scene with jack and locke just talking that was particularly great
it has to go :(
The Office season 2-4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Parks and Rec >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Office 5 - now
The Office season 2-4 > The Office 5-7 >>>>>>> Parks and Rec > The Office Season 8 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Community / 30 Rock
Parks and Rec season 2 & 3 >>>>>>> The office 3-5 >>>>>>> everything else
OH, COME ON!
THERE IS LOADS OF TV PROGRAMS SO WE CANT RANK THEM ALL
what about seinfeld
what about curb
what about x y and z
that I don't need The Office without Michel Scott in my life.
and what exactly is happening here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiu_IX14wLI , the massive amounts of love Parks and Rec gets is a mystery I will take to my grave.
but there's still plenty of hilarious bits. the bit with the van rental guys logo was AMAZING.
