http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17989929 Hmmm, interesting...
they only think that it is a technicality that they are accountable to the public, they think that ordinary people are their subjects and are inferior to them because we didnt have the nouse to grab power
and they don't give a shit about it.
Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said: ...
"I am a firm believer in greater transparency..."
what a total cunt
Just a rebuttal to Creaky's "they are Tories" line, 'tis all.
so yes they might not have been forthcoming enough either and might have had similar lording over the commoners sort of thing...............BUT surely they did not fai lto release this report, as THIS report is concerning the latest NHS shakeup surely.
ALSO from the dates it is THIS government that has been told to hand over THIS report, not the labour government and some other report.
I did not mention labout at all.
Instead I tried to sum up, how the gov had the chutpah to say (when ordered to hand over a report about the NHS)
"No, we dont want to hand it over"
and I think that my post distills the essential underlying arrogance of the government quite well.
If you like you can try to say that there are also other arrogant governments, but that is irrelevant as to this governemnts (and the tory parties) attitude to 'the people'
As far as gov are concerned 'the people' are an inconvenience. (Obviously a gross generalisation, but it is the overall gerneralisation that shines through and essentially sums up the result of their attitudes as a whole)
did the Conservatives call on them to publish the document under a FOI request?
example of the communist agenda of the bbc :D
The tribunal ruled that the public interest in publishing it was "very high, if not exceptional".
No excuse for this, really.
iz al in the game though, right?
I'm not one for conspiracy theories or demonisation of political parties I don't agree with but I can't help thinking that the government's willingness to risk looking secretive and less than transparent over releasing information means they're hiding something pretty spectacular.
It's all getting a bit tedious... all that will happen is a couple of people will piss themselves a bit, then everyone would forget about it.
