im in bradford thursday and friday.
(i've nothing to offer myself)
also, while i'm here - good pub to watch football in
it's alright, bit grimy
go to the upstairs bit. Downstairs tends to be reserved for the post-pub crowd.
I've also heard an apocryphal tale that it's the oldest curry restaurant in the city. It doesn't look much from the outside (and it's in the old red light district) but is really good value. It's near Valley Parade about 10-15 mins walk from the city centre.
Akbar's, in Leeds Road, is considered one of the best in Bradford, but you have to book well in advance and it's about a mile outside the city centre.
If you can't get into Akbar's then Zouk, also in Leeds Road about three doors away from Akbar's, is also very nice.
Anam's in Great Horton Road is nice (even has an indoor fish pond) but is a buffet.
probably cant travel much out of the centre but will keep these in mind
forgot what it's called.
I'm sure it's nice - the vegetarian thing puts me off though.
Do 2 for 1 deals on Thursdays
