just had my flights to primevara and one to paris in june cancelled.
not too happy.
how do you mean?
What a shitter
The changes mean that all BMI Baby flights to and from Belfast will cease from 11 June 2012.
Services from East Midlands to Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva, Nice, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newquay, and from Birmingham to Knock and Amsterdam, will cease on the same date.
“Customers can continue to book summer holiday flights from East Midlands and Birmingham,” the airline said.
“It is proposed that all BMI Baby flights departing from Monday September 10, 2012 onwards will no longer operate.”
stupid name anyway
Still rubbish, of course, because new flights now will probably cost more than what you paid. Better start hunting skyscanner, good luck!
full refunds. can rebook paris and probably get it cheaper if i hunt around no problem. primavera not so much
Gatwick to Porto with TAP isn't toooo bad, or wasn't when I booked. Even including travel from Newcastle to Gatwick, it's cheaper than most other routes, and hopefully the flight won't be Ryanair shit.
i'd have to leave nottingham an hour after finishing work, and then a delay would screw me big time
but the tourist needs to pay more dollars & cents to go where bluebirds fly
at least they've given him a 4 week warning
Is it called bmibaby because it sounds like be my baby? Never clocked that.
that's worse than the cancellation.
I thought it was because it was the low cost offshoot of BMI which I think stood for Birmingham Midlands.
But I can't find anything to confirm that
But why bmibaby? Not bmimini or bmicheapskate? I say because it sounds like be my baby.
you get what you pay for. Personally I like swiss air they give you chocolate and have mr bean on repeat :)
never had a problem.
Couple of years ago we booked our primavera flights with BA, thought it'd be a right treat.
Then they went on strike.
Still got out, but the flights were on wet lease. So we flew out on Ghana International (West Africa's premier transsexual airline) and back on Titan Airlines, who were like 2 hours late (although got off lightly considering my friends once flew skiing with Titan and they landed at the wrong airport in the wrong country)
