I love it.

Best racquet sport out there, imo.

I was good once, probably just under county level.

I want to play again soon. I brought my racquet down from home especially over xmas :(

    I've always played badminton. Playing tennis for the first time fucked me over. I just instinctively went to the centre of the court and kept wondering why I couldn't get to anything :/

    - Harru is like a little sleepy potato man, it amuses me that he used to be good at sport is all
      
      I prefer tennis because it's much, much harder than badminton (or has a steeper learning curve at least). In badminton you don't have to worry much about positioning, power, spin etc, it's more about reactions and technique. It is fun though. The thing that used to fuck me up is that whenever you get into those little rallies at the net where you both keep dinking it over I always get a giggle fit. Always.

One problem I find with badminton

is that when you play then you end up in a sports hall surrounded by tubby people who are shit at badminton, and it kills your buzz.

The last time I played

My most overweight friend absolutely spanked me so I've been put off for a while. Think I was playing with a tennis arm rather than a limp badminton wrist. Squash is best though.

I used to like it

but then I played my dad and all my dad does is aim the shuttlecock directly at his opponent's face at all times and I kept losing and getting hit in the face so I stopped playing it

I would play it again with someone who didn't hit it at my face

loved playing it with freinds
