I ain't googling that
Good God it was awful. Only two reasons why I lasted that long. Probably would have watched more but I was on a plane.
From the adverts I'm guessing no.
It's not great.
but there's something about how awful it is that i just find endearing.
i actually thought for a time it was Liv's niece (like in the future episode last season) but yeah. it was pretty good. i'm assuming it was some kind of set up for a potential season 5 (which may still happen) and if it is it excites me far more than most of season 4 has.
David Robert Jones being back is a nice touch tho, especially as season 1 feels a little divorced from the rest of the show given that they basically dropped all mention of The Pattern and ZFT and all the weird stuff being connected somehow after season 1.
(also it took me until Mad Men started to realise he = Lane. glasses do work as a disguises, Clark Kent was right!)
but if the best clips of the programme are in the trailers, then it must not be a very good programme.
Is it really the BIGGEST COMEDY IN THE USA?!?!11
Most big (by which I mean truly big, not just internet messageboard big) are woeful, but by way of contrast I can see the market for the likes of Everyone Loves Raymond.
Is this just aimed at dim white girls?
The Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men
Then probably 2 Broke Girls. Its a hit for a new show but its not smashing any records or anything.
but once i got over that i didn't want to watch anymore and i doubt i'll watch it again.
try that, instead.
I watched the first two episodes of that last night. Great, great stuff.
For the unaware: sorta similar situation except everything about it is a bit fucked up and one girl is Pinkman's druggie ex from Breaking Bad and James Van Der Beek co-stars PLAYING HIMSELF
that hates the fact he was Dawson but still uses it as a way to score with women, and also makes terrible namedrops presumably to illustrate how terrible his career has been since he was Dawson
It's not often that a sitcom has you chuckling consistently in the very first episode, so I predict either great things from this one, or a major crash and burn into ridiculousness by halfway through the season.
is a pretty spot-on example of a low-stakes, consistently funny ensemble comedy. It's weird more people aren't watching it.
