mine: Manningtree Kebab & Pizza House
although its pretty close between quite a few establishments
I go all the time
it's a kebab shop...at a junction.
(actually there are a couple of others slightly closer but that name, come on...)
not sure how i feel about that apostrophe
Go in and ask to speak to Chilli.
(chips & pizzas)
but the nearest one has closed down so it's either...
Zaytoon - but only if a restaurant that does take out is included
if you were interested
We'll get a table in the kitchen
cos a guy called Kev owned it and he was a twin.
Great naming skills.
curry place which apparently is well good but i've not been myself. next closest is oriental spice, a chinese place which i've also not been to and after that is woody grill which i've been to shitloads!
<3 woody grill
It's really good! Sort of famous even, locally at least. So I guess thats good.
The road I live off is home to about 500 fast food places though. There are probably more than there are houses.
Grubbs was my shrine when I lived there
KFC is right next to it though
Chicken Cottage. Side by side. Next to a knocking shop.
technically a restaurant as well, but the take away pizzas are immense and cooked in a proper pizza oven. Outside the front door, they usually have piles of wood that they burn to fuel the oven. check it out.
Website in Polish and English, despite me probably being the only English speaking customer they've ever had.
It's next door out of the flat's front door.
It's pretty nice but a bit pricey. Good vegetarian breakfast though.
Globetrotter which does fish and chips but doesn't do deep fried pizza so I rarely go in.
Sadly, not a Sino-French mash up as the title would imply, but rather a pretty average Chinese takeaway.
On the other side of the roundabout at a negligibly further distance is a Subway, Wok Inn (a better Chinese takeaway) and Papa John's. McDonald's is a ten minutes walk too, so all my needs are met really.
so about 408049890 places
in capitals like that
when I was in there once a guy shit himself in the queue in front of me
It's a thai/Chinese restaurant, the food there is brillo & I really like the decor :)
Unless you count Sticky Mikes Frog Bar because they sell pizza
It's either a Burger King, Subway or Cottage Chicken... take your pick
Cracking fish and chips, terrible pun.
Talking of puns, I found FISHCOTHEQUE on Waterloo Road (the road in Waterloo, not the TV show) last night and thought it was brilliant.
but a quick google shows there are a number of these.
They have a tandoor in the front with a bloke making naans.
The Battered sausages are spot on. Only allow myself one a month though.. mmmm
The nearest I know the name of is a very good fish & chip shop called The Magnet.
Never been, for obvious reasons. It is open till late and mostly populated by surly teenagers, i.e. both staff and clientele.
They're next to each other.
Rarely go to either.
