I went to see a free screening of it last week. It was awesome!
I just spotted it's on YouTube. Double awesome!
especially like the guy eating the grilled rat, with side of vegetables.
I think it's still on my mother's Sky+ box from when I was living there last summer, only ever got about halfway through it though.
That tunnel was reopened not long after the documentary was filmed, wonder what happened to all the people.
there is always somewhere else, sometimes not as good and it will be an upheaval and anything that was stability there (for some) will be upheaved for a bit, I like that they talk about the 'up' stories about the people that moved on to 'better' places. But the thing is that there will still be loads of homeless people.
Some of the people living underground seem to have carved out some 'not too bad' places for themselves, although the lack of walls/door means they are totally vulnerable, something I wouldnt like
I thought the las vegas storm drain dwelling was a bit weird (its a storm drain) perhaps las vegas never got those expected storms?
here are some of the new US homeless
Interestingly the voiceover 'blames' the downturn in the economy......hmm interesting, actually a more direct cause of it is the banks and financial institution chucking people out of their homes (even though there is no one to sell the homes on to)
these are the same financial intitutions and banks that have been bailed out (directly or indirectly) through government funds
Srlsy, I think it is the terminology that is most damning here.
IF the reporters apportioned at least some of the blame on those evicting the people from their homes, then at least there would be hope for this stuff not increasing

If any of you happen to visit this Facist town, could you at register some sort of protest. I guess boyucotting it wont do anything as they wont know you've boycoted it
people falling to the bottom so they have nowhere to stay to help support it, are 'EVIL' in humanistic terms.
which in essence means that many capitalist democracies are defining themselves as evil (I suppose that it is at least a polite evil though)
so they went ahead and used his stuff anyway, then persuaded some honey to go backstage at one of his gigs, come on to him and convince him to meet up with the director.
