I love eating them, but apple juice doesn't appeal (apple LOL!!!) to me at all (APPLE!!! LOLOLO!!!)
Not that piss in cartons
The only physical fruit I can eat is an apple. All the others, I love the juice but the texture of the actual fruit is unbearable for me. I wish I could get over it because it's embarrassing
Not all fruit has the same texture though.
Banana isn't the same as pomegranate which isn't the same as grapefruit which isn't the same as kiwi fruit which isn't the same as pear which isn't the same as blueberry.
I call shenanigans on this.
I wish I was lying, because it just sounds so much like I'm being a dick, doesn't it? I've tried pretty much all of the *mainstream* fruit, and apples are the only ones I genuinely enjoy eating.
If anyone else was/is like me and has any advice to stop me being such a moron about fruit, that'd be great.
such as jam, marmalade and curd?
as chutney can fuck off.
but i love bacon.
Similar thing I suppose.
strength of flavour etc. Why some people like orange juice with bits and others dont.
And it doesn't have enough flavour
You're all too precious. Grow up.
but don't like all chocolate flavoured things
Name something chocolate that you don't like.
I love apples but don't like apple juice or apple flavoured things (including anything with cooked apples in like apple pies).
I hate coffee to drink but love coffee flavour things (ice cream, cakes etc).
Strawberry flavour things are brilliant but not really arsed about actual strawberries.
Chocolate is great, chocolate flavour things (cakes, drinks) are usually shit.
unless you're all drinking juice thats pumped up with sugar. Fruit are so fresh and delicious and I don't understand how someone can not like fruit but can like the juice of a fruit. I can't think of a fruit that is of such a horrible texture that you wouldn't eat it.
In just the same way I can't quite get my head around why vegetarians don't like the taste, smell and texture of lovely crispy fried bacon, but have to just accept some people are just mentally impaired and should be shunned, you'll have to do the same with the folk in this thread.
Vegetarians don't not eat meat because it tastes gross, they don't eat it because they don't agree with the way its been killed.
people have different reasons for being vegetarian
I thought the point of vegetarianism was because they didn't agree with killing a life for the sake of food? I dunno.
But aren't really that bothered about whether they're being treated badly or not.
the reason for this is due to the concentration of juice in the fruit is obviously isn't as high as the juice & the increased surface area of the good stuff means it tastes stronger... I find fruit usually tastes a bit of nothing, certainly not as appealing as Juice on it's own
You're doing fruit wrong.
- don't like fruit
- don't like veg
- don't like fish
- don't like water
as someone trood on the back of my trainer this morning at the station and flipped it off my foot and I had to stop and undo the laces and put it back on my foot and then do the laces up again. Its put me in a bad mood and I'm taking i out on you guys sorry
ohhh im angry again
We were inside the station, just gone through the barriers, there was only me and her walking to the stairs and she walked way too close to me, for no reason, and stepped on me heel and just looked at me when I looked at her. NO SORRY OR ANYTHING
but that is mainly down to the Russian roulette you have to play with apples. I always squeeze them to see if the flesh breaks and goes in easily.
I suppose the only ones would be tricky to eat fruits like pomegranates and passion fruit.
but also contains flavourless flesh, which dilutes the flavour of the yummy juice
Way too much effort to eat and they're like 75% skin and pith. A couple of pomegranate seeds are essential for a decent radish & pecorino salad though.
I find fresh pineapple very sharp and it makes my eyes and nose tingle (a lot of fruit does this to me, actually, but pineapple is the worst). However pineapple juice, for some reason, is sweet and jubbly and leaves my eyes and nose feeling completely normal. Can this be explained? I'm sure it can't just be because of added sugar and things, because I've had some pineapple juices which were apparently added sugar free etc and they were still nice and un-tingly. I'm not particularly worried about it, but it is a good example (for me, anyway) of this phenomenon
They're a bit sharp and tingly but the juice, while a little dry, is eminently more palatable to me.
the texture :((((((
juice is nice though
ps maybe it's to do with enzymes.
I might do some research.
Think about that, guys. Think about it.
because the is simply way more to the flavour of things then the actual contents such as concentration and surface area, that why as a rule crinkled crisps are more intense then regular ones.
Besides, the moment Zapsta endorses anything it's pretty much like taking the cause and shooting it in the face with a double barrelled shot gun
