I see on facebook every day
I just saw the photo linked by a friend (well, acquaintance) on Facebook. It may be the most horrifically blatant piece of propaganda I've seen since that scene in Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 where he portrays Iraq as a quiet place where children were playing before nasty America came and dropped some bombs.
I wasn't aware of the anti-semitic contexts, of course
but I don't think it's much worse than 100 other whiny facebook campaigns I've seen, though obviously if the guy who posted it is an anti-semite that might change things.
I've seen far, far worse.
I just hate the extent of emotional manipulation going on here. Never mind the issues at stake (or the fact there's no immediate threat of anyone bombing Iran anyway) - just somebody please think of the children...
It's an awful picture, yes, and is manipulative, but it's probably just another one of those things off the back of Kony2012. It'll go away in a few weeks.
