Had a CV today that hadn't even been spell-checked.
Scum, sub-human scum.
The fees that they charge! Whopping. If you want to get a job, somewhere small especially - introduce yourself in person and convince them that way. People will be more likely to hire you just to avoid paying thousands to some recruitment agency.
...as a contractor I have found that most companies' HR functions are no longer geared up to recruit people themselves anymore. As such, an unfortunately necessary evil.
I hold myself responsible for spell checking my CV. If it's got any errors it's because I'm a cunt.
Having said that they are a shower of twats.

I once had a conversation with someone that told me that they had just got in to train as a officer in the Navy, but weren't sure because they reckoned that their job as a recruitment consultant was about to kick off and they'd earn tons. I just sat there baffled.
