Today I discovered Spring-heeled Jack
I remember reading about him a long time ago
Bizarrely, someone posted it on a QPR forum I read.
Aye, lovely looking fella, isn't he.
Thought you were referring to the Jersey Devil's wings - lol.
The film The last Broadcast was pretty rubs, but it was a pre-cursor to the Blair Witch
Person I spoke to had no idea who i was talking about.
Alleging that Purple Aki has groped him in the loo.
It is second only to the troll face flag I saw last year
One late night this driver saw the ghost bus coming towards him and veered out of the way into oncoming traffic causing an accident.
He was arrested for dangerous driving. He pleaded the ghost bus. It being a noted phenomenon in the area, the judge dismissed the charges against him
But not wanting to read about serial killers and people being kidnapped.
I thought about a ghost story thread, but my work computers actually list a reason for blocking stuff as *Folklore* and *The Occult*
So this a thread is a composite for those ideas
I've heard the name before, but never heard about this bouncing guy!
Slightly different, but at my (CofE) primary school they used to read us this poem at Christmas, and it completely shit me up. Still feel a bit shivery when I think about it - much more scary than anything in the Bible!
I went to a Catholic school where you'd expect some fire and brimstone stuff but all we ever got was Father Dangerfield telling us how many times he'd met the Pope
just read us allegories about hamsters and camels and the Good Samaritan, but for some reason they thought this would be appropriate for the festive period. I suspect it's because the poet was local-ish to us. It is a great poem, but utterly terrifying!
People fell for that? It's SO FAKE
