pub with out door area, not too far from oxford road train station, not sandbar
i'll feeling fresh out of ideas
Has tiny outdoors, space has big roof garden, the deansgate has big, beautiful roof garden, atlas, though I guess if I'm suggesting as far as Atlas might as well thrown in Cask and the ox. Rain Bar beer garden is good
Umm, *other much better suggestions*
and yes, get on that bike or maybe i can come give you a lift over or something. i'll text you late.r
has cobbled outside area (small)
how far is far?
it can be a bit far. but not too far. that's about the best i can do haha
keep walking up from station, turn right at natwest. not too hard to direct someone.
*never been obviously* ;)
compared to the rest of the clientele. It's just not worth it.
it was the pub I was brought up on in college (meaning it was the only place in manchester that would serve you underage).
Even going back in there when I was 21 (24 now) I was just like "wow im old"
particularly when you have the Lass just around the corner. Tbh I'd probably drink in O'Shea's before I'd drink in the Garrett, and that's a shithole.
Just thought that it was the place definitionofself was thinking of. To be fair I don't remember the last time i was in there...
I've only been once admittedly and that was a couple of Fridays ago and whilst there was some defo college sniffers, there was a fair whack of elder statesmen too
turn right there and head down, past nandos and across the road. There's a great bar there with massive outdoor space, pool table, telly etc.
Sadly I've forgotten its name.
turn right after that. It's down there somewhere. Walking away from the BBC centre down the street off of oxford rd
might go exploring
but it's possible that the bar I'm trying to describe MIGHT be the Courtyard.
and that guy v said
Voted best beer garden last year.
i can't find the fucker
I wonder what the Msv Building is, tbh
have a great weekend, c_r
and has an outdoor bit.
HI MANCHESTER PEOPLE. And- see you in 3 weeks :)
Right next to the canal with those cheeky geese running up.
I love being a Castlefield bender.
Although I'm not really a castlefield fan. too close to the big scary building.
Castlefield's where cheapsuits like to go to drink dogpiss beer and pretend they earn four times what they actually do.
No offence...it's just basically the worst part of Manchester city centre.
i know you care
Come to Pi, wk.
reclaiming Platt Fields. Occupy Platt Fields.
Been millions of times and everytime I have no idea where I am and just rely on the people I'm with
bit of a crèche but it was nice enough and i had good company
I used to go there as it would always serve us, and we still end up going there before clubs just because my friends refuse to try new places. It's nice, but I was sort of expecting ye old folk to say how much better other bars are
not that many options...
fully appreciate everyone's effort though. you are all well cool

only really know the knott
there's one opposite bridgewater hall. Well around the back of it anyway. Top boozer.
called Rain Bar
I've been there once and it was 3pm but it was nice. Despite the name it looks like an old fashioned pub and it was inside.
I see Scout mentioned Rain Bar in the first reply. Commendation.
although it did remind me of the tiled place on the other side of the road. its got table football.
i seem to remember they do good food but it has been a while
