Well I'm a bit excited.
I dunno why as I'm not that much of a fan, but I think it's because Sundays have always been synonymous in my family with falling asleep on the sofa to some kind of sporting activity. And you have to take what you can get in the absence of proper sport...
Talking of which, us terrestrial viewers only get 50% of the races live now, which sorta sucks, but not so much that I have any desire to get Sky. What will they show for the 2 weeks between races? My guess is... fuck all.
Mclaren thinks it'll be competitive. Horner is more worried about the challenge from Button than Hamilton. Lots of the cars have new weird noses that allow air to pass through but look pretty whack. Ferrari seem to be having a mare. Australia might get ditched as Bernie starts mentioning that it's a long way to travel to for one race.
I for one am pretty excited to see the Beeb coverage back on screen as last years' was superb. I'm also well keen to hear Kimi Raikkonen's post race comments, such is his irrepressible enthusiasm for life.
6 world champions in one season eh? Should be a good one...
