What course of action would you take as a result? I don't get this at all, sorry.
based on the subject of a previous thread, and extending it further with little real purpose other than to continue the convention that seems to be extant.
I guess its a cultural thing.
to test a hypothesis, you see I started a serious topic thread (re rail cutbacks (announced recently by gov) although the HS rail link is still going ahead)
That thread has garnered no replies, but this inconsequential nonsense thread (but in the DIS convention) has garnered replies effortlessly.
Thus my hypothesis is bourne out by the early results.
now you just need some clever bod who is a bit bored to google one into life!
I'm sure I speak for many here when I say that I *am* here to exchange did recipes
well I think you need to find out who is ignoring you, so that you can work on how to get them to not ignore you anymore, perhaps give them some special type of attention, or tailor what you say.
it may seem like it sometimes (to be srs)
The only 2 or 3 people I would ignore are people who are unbearably annoying, rather than stupid. But I won't anyway, because a) it's a Chrome extension and I use Firefox, b) not necessarily EVERYTHING they say is annoying, and c) some of it may even be aimed at me and I'd like to be able to read it, d) I am reasonable capable of ignoring posts without the need of technology, and e) it would be positively ungentlemanly.
know myself? <reaches out and touches mirror>
But it's not going to be me who does it: I don't want to cross over the line of collecting & sharing other people's data.
It'd also be technically much more difficult, and would rely on everybody upgrading to a new version of the extension.
"Go for it" does that constitute a contract? Do any lawyers know what can be considered part of a contract when in various forms of 'E-space'?
I can't do a 'preview post' feature because that's too intimately tied in to the inner workings of DiS.
Dammit, could use a preview post feature
It's called *thinking before you post*
or maybe *taking a second to reread your gibberish before you submit it*
Nobody in this thread has asked for one.
I'd like a cornetto. rum and raisin (natch)
I used to love rum n raisen flavour stuff
e.g. "'^too intimately tied into the inner workings of your m........etc"'
makes me feel like I must be a ghost and not real, I get this in my home sometimes when people ignore me
My prediction is that most people probably aren't even going to install this extension; of those that do, most probably aren't going to use it for long before they get bored of the novelty; and most who do keep using it probably won't have you blocked anyway.
when I put issues and concerns on RAID logs people sometimes ignore them (sometimes they even remove them without them having been agreed they can be removed)
