The guy i work with just said CD disc.
What's wrong with that?
PEOPLE WHO mix up disc and disk. Absolutely no impact whatsoever, but there's an established convention.
I just thought disk was someone spelling it wrong.

Maybe he was trying to specify that it was the disc itself rather than the case. For example if someone was looking for a CD they might say "have you seen my CD disc?" or something maybe. Not sure why I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. FUCK THEM!
