oh i forgot the WHO has an anti-american bias according to america.
but it is nice to see the Mail print a pro NHS story for once, especially with the planned changes to the NHS going on at the moment.
last I'd heard.
So.. not any more.
where they have a huge majority of people saying they'd vote for them?
They are like a propaganda machine, whatever their angle on an article, the comments section below follows. Red arrows for those who disagree with the article, green for those who agree. They could do a story tomorrow about the NHS saying how it is a horrible, communist dilapidated crock of shite and the comments would all agree.
it's not infrequent to see a backlash against something the mail prints.
the Mail likes things that its readership likes. It has no internal compass. One thing that many people in the UK, including the Mail's readership, is the NHS. They also like to gripe about the NHS, but this is usually that it should be better: not dismantled or privatised.
So here we can see that the government's argument that the reforms are to do with making the NHS better are failing even in the eyes of its most captive and loyal audience: they're falling into the category as fundamentally dismantling the NHS rather than imporving it, despite all Lansley and Cameron's claims to the contrary.
