So far, I want to see the pandas.
I'd like to go to some cool art galleries as well.
Hit me up yeah?
It's a nice walk up there and there's usually something decent in there. It's free too :)
The Portrait Gallery is also free and decent and has just been refurbished.
Walk up to the top of here:
It's about £4 to go up there and the view at the top is insane.
The Camera Obscura is my favourite museum-y thing in Edinburgh:
Go to Holyrood 9A for good burgers and good beer:
Visit St Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile, it's really underrated and has an amazing organ (lol) in it:
Eat at Illegal Jack's for a brilliant burrito:
if that floats your boat :)
I was there for the first time a month ago. Might be tricky if you are tall or broad though. You get a certificate to say you have climbed it, but they give it to you before you have taken the first step!
mary kings close
theyve just opened up a new primark on princes street too, i've not been but it must be worth a look
is so ghastly.
Mens clothes are in the basement. It's like an awful neon-suffused world of cheap crap.
you forgot to mention buying a kilt and a Red Hot Chili Pipers CD from Ye Olde Scottish Tartenee Shoppe on the High Street
just to look around, to see what its like, knowing that its probably gonna be there for years and stuff?
Fruitmarket usually has some stuff on.
There's a number of smaller galleries dotted around the city, which might have more 'left field' fare.
Walking up the crags and arthur's seat
Looking at the Parliament from the crag's and finally getting an idea of what the architect had in mind when he designed it.
No 9 for a burger and beer after that as it's just up the road from the Parliament.
Kebab Mahal or Mosque Kitchen for reasonably priced and good Indian food.
Go to Glasgow (LAWL only joking, but that gets posted in EVERY SINGLE one of these threads, so, in before fucktards)
Have a look at this website;
as it'll tell you what gigs/clubs/theatre/comedy/art stuff is on over the weekend.
I'd be all over it but I'm out of town for a wedding
more beers and food and shit
Depending upon your budget, I can recommend the following places:
Cafe Saint Honore (http://www.cafesthonore.com)
Cafe Marlayne (http://www.cafemarlayne.com/thistle_street_restaurant_edinburgh.php)
Kebab Mahal (http://www.kebab-mahal.co.uk/)
Holyrood 9A (http://www.fullerthomson.com/eating-and-drinking/holyrood/)
Dubh Prais (http://www.dubhpraisrestaurant.com/)
The Witcherie is overpriced for what it is and is a bit of a tourist trap (or idiot trap).
Then there's these
I win. I win.
....is get on the first train to Glasgow.
At least then you'd enjoy yourself.
so I'm sure he'll enjoy himself all the same.
You tedious bellend.
