The second time I watched it I watched the whole thing with subtitles. So much stuff I'd missed first time round, and would still have missed without the subs.
granted there's a lot of slang but I don't think the subtitles are going to explain what a spiderbag is
I found there was a lot of stuff that just went over my head first time round, or I didn't realise the importance of it. For some reason when you see stuff written down it makes more sense.
It's a bit hard for the first five or ten minutes but after that you know what they're saying.
I got the hang of that pretty quickly, as you say.
There's just so many pivotal lines and bits of dialogue that are easy to miss, and I think the subtitles help you remember/ notice them.
