Big trade show with lots of little cubicles thring to sell you lots of little things in a big room is my overriding memory.
Went home with some postcards of those chaos picture thingys and a load of brochures for hifi companies.
bored the cock off me all afternoon. Although did laugh at the bloke who tried to get Kev's autograph just as he was walking on stage, Kev was all like 'I'm just about to go on stage, so no' bloke looked heartbroken.
and thinking that it was amazing for some reason. We got loads of free Typhoo tea, but other than that I can't think of any reason I should have enjoyed beyond just absorbing some of my mum's enthusiasm. Thinking about it, she was probably pretty crafty in making us excited about it so that we wouldn't whinge all the way round it.
they don't give out free stuff, you end up spending loads of money on toffee vodka and garlic pickle and then rue not buying that mandolin thay was very good value. Plus Earls Court is a shithole.
