the ones where the voices were all wonky or sutin.
maybe they were just the very early episodes, idk.
i've probably got it wrong.
redeems any other mistakes.
same as there are plenty of proper shit simpsons episodes.
Groening: you don't know when to quit. I CRITICISE YOU
redeems any proper shit episodes.
there aren't any proper shit episodes.
i would also say tom waits is beyond criticism.
(IMO) you have to say Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Nick Cave and all the other brilliant songwriters. Which isn't a bad thing just that this list could get very long
much as i love his work.
In my mind, means that because someone has consistently done brilliant and amazing work, you can ignore his bad and lesser stuff. Everyone in this thread would of done something bad or produced some bad work, but because of their other stuff you can ignore it.
just because Dylan did a bunch of good albums in the 60's and 70's doesn't make up for the shit he's peddled since, nor his shameless corporate whoring in recent years, nor the swindling of his core audience at every gig in the last decade by over-charging them.
I didn't say Dylan. I said if you say Tom Waits you have to say Dylan, Young etc....
<3 him but beyond criticism??
Michel Roux Jr
say what you like about him, but he's the hardest working man in showbusiness/mobile phone salesmanship
apart from Craig Charles obviously.
with Sepultura's roadie on vocals.
Spoony meets Sir Alex Ferguson
There is no-one who is above criticism.
Nobody is perfect, not even me.
That still puts him on well in excess of a billion though
because John Peel. also because he's dead.
has there ever been a more perfecty idealist leader of a state?
