pizza is OK for convenience (eating on the hoof for eg) but is is essentially a souped-up cheese on toast. probably best eaten in your pants.
curry is a meal/pizza is a snack
coz Mediterranean food is the greatest, coz cheese is God's own work and coz there's nothing so joyous as a perfect crispy base
Curry has its charms, but it doesn't have a particularly broad variation in texture. Fundamentally, they're similar concepts, except pizza is drier, cheesier and has much more scope for fresh ingredients that retain their original flavour.
Also, I'm a pescetarian these days and this limits the curries I can have, and I find that I prefer my fish when it's not chopped up and slathered in overpowering spices. Prawns make for a good curry and I had an excellent cauliflower curry in cream-and-coconut sauce lately - the best I've had in years, in fact, but pizza, WHEN DONE WELL, is virtually unbeatable for me.
Curry
Tender lamb every single time
Chewy chicken is more my thang
Pizza
Curry pizza
had this once, at usually-the-best-pizza-place-in-Christendom Zero Degrees
a grave, grave error of judgment on my part ;_;
I keep wanting to eat there
But get confused my the non conventional recipes and end up going to Everest for a curry.
Pizza is losing
but guntrip is a super user and his vote counts for 4
so it's curry 5, pizza 4

Doing a delish pizza in your own oven is easylife.
Not so for curry.

10 - 9 n fVOUR OF PIZZA THATNKS TO GUNTY
caps lock is now off
FUCK YEAH
different foods for different...needs.
of course I'm going to get a curry you knobs,
BUT. I always go for Jalfrazi. Any suggestions for an alternative?
Lamb biryani
Masaladar
Got a nice warmth and a nice tang to it. If you want something hot then I probably wouldn't go for this.
I want HOT
hook me me up
Madras and Vindaloo are usually the hottest but I find...
...they sacrifice flavour in favour of extreme spice.
South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken if you want chicken.
A Hot Lamb Lassan if you want Lamb.
Jalfrezi is normally hotter than a Madras in the curry houses near me.
Vindaloo is always good but you might regret it the next day.
Ask them to make it spicy
chicken madras all the way
Or Vindaloo if you don't have work in the morning
i either have a jalfrazi or a chilli massala, to be honest they are very similar, the massala i get does have a variety of chillis though
always with tikka meat if it's an option, though some of the better places seem to not bother asking and give marinaded chicken of some sort.
Hahahahahhahaha
I'm going to order a pizza because guntrip and icarus are winners.
I love the rest of you. but not in a sexual way.
ok I'm ordering curry.
If I can remember the name of the curry house
it's not even a question
curry pwns pizza on so many fronts it's not even funny
^this^ x54
