the idea of rupert murdoch being in luton... :')))))))
He's from Australia for Christ's sake.
SAFETY WINK I'M SURE IT'S LOVELY DOWN UNDER.
I don't really see there's a gaping void left by the closure of the NOTW. A few million people were left without their paper of choice. So, they either started buying another paper, which they're happy with, or they thought, you know what, I don't really need a paper on a Sunday, I'll watch the telly instead. I don't think there are millions of people eagerly awaiting another News International title. So who's going to buy it? Some people will try it out of curiosity. Most will buy it if it has an amazing front page scoop. But ultimately, I can't see it ever doing especially well.
I bet there are millions of people out there who had years-long routines of stumbling to the newsagents with a sore head on a Sunday morning and buying the big two (The People and the NOTW) so they can read amazing football transfer rumours and laugh at famous people.
There must be a huge gap in the market for people who aren't either royalists, racists or cretins who don't mind paying two fuckin' quid for a newspaper.
I think it will probably do well
are all there doing similar things, and have all benefited from a sales boost in the wake of NOTW closing. What impetus will the readers of those have for going back?
That said, I can see people adding to their Sunday paper haul with the Sunday Sun. I guess if it's more of what they like they'll drop another in favour.
within a month. Not like there's a lack of idiots out there.
