preaching to her audience. She's hardly gonna turn up at the Vatican and flick the Vs up at ol' Ratzinger is she?
Still, bit of a der-der head.
but nothing new. She has a point anyway.
This is so out of touch with reality that there's almost no addressing it. A scarily mental view. Welcome to the Tory taliban.
which in turn is out of touch with most of the rest of the country.
but agreed nonetheless.
instead of religion always being right, always being allowed to do whatever it wants (however batshit insane), people are standing up and saying they think things should be different? It annoys me when people say we are a Christian country, I think church attendances paint a different picture. Even then they are full of old people who are in it for the social side.
over 70% of people said they were christian.

refer to Christian values rather than beliefs. And in that sense, we very much remain a Christian country.
the same values as any other major religion, or indeed an agnostic/atheist's values
they're generally more odious than agnostic/atheist values, insofar as 'good' things are done for purely selfish reasons (religious reward) rather than all atheists (much like all left wing people!), who are truly altrustic and objectively good people and make baby cg cry
TAAAAAKE MEEEE HOOOOOME
it's not absolutely out there crazy view. Her language is a bit hyperbolic but she's saying something that lots of people in this country also think.
What exactly does everyone have a problem with? this is the only bit I could really take any issue with: For me, one of the most worrying aspects about this militant secularisation is that at its core and in its instincts it is deeply intolerant. It demonstrates similar traits to totalitarian regimes – denying people the right to a religious identity because they were frightened of the concept of multiple identities.
As for religion being sidelined, as has been pointed out, we're the only Western country to sitll have clerics in the legislature
She is at the same time, with a straight face, talking about gay-hating, women-hating, other race-religion-creed-insertyourfuckingdifferentiatorhere religion. She says secularism demonstrates similar traits to totalitarian regimes, with a straight face, while talking about religion. I can't even. I've got to hand it to her, this sort of language is trolling of the highest order.
but strangely sexually attractive
B_I_T_T likes a bit of brown.
It's fucking baroness Warsi Warsi Warsi
Is anyone actually not allowed to wear religious markers because of their jobs - like crosses and shit? Or is that something the papers made up?
though I think some employers have disciplined employees for wearing the burka. I can't verify that though.
It's the same as the councillors being "banned from holding prayers" shocker. It was only ruled that the official business of the council did not include compulsory attendance at prayer. Religion is and should be a private matter.
where it's a genuine health and safety issue (political correctness gone mad!) or something similar.
what's on page 11 or 17 ?
that'll be the serious stuff
