Irritating advertising campaigns
I know that this has no doubt been done before a thousand times on here, but my local bus company has an ad campaign which really vexes me. They have put oversized photos of ostensibly irl people on the back/sides of some of their buses together with a little blurb stating why said person believes the company is great.
Some are, admittedly, mildly heartwarming (such as the lady who met her future husband on the bus); others merely mundane (OAP who takes her grandchildren on culturally edifying day trips using her free bus pass). Others still are mildly irritating (trendy looking couple going on about how they use the bus because it helps the environment). The one that really sets my teeth on edge, however, is one of a lad pulling a *wacky* pose who says he relies on the bus for nights out in town (difficult as the service stops at 11.30pm) and likes the company as it is reliable and fun just like him. Ugh.
And I have to see these same oversized imagines of happy looking people more or less EVERY SODDING DAY.
So, am I being an unreasonably miserable git? What adverts have irked you recently? (tl;dr, etc)
