help, i'm balding
yeah yeah i know grow up be a man just deal with it etc etc but for someone who has had long hair for the past decade this is really upsetting.
very early stages of male pattern baldness, crown is thinning out and tiny bald spot even, as well as super thin above temples. its happening rapidly too which is scaring me the fuck out. itchy scalp etc too so yeah i am losing my hair and i want to cry so please tell me how to deal with this and learn to accept it LIKE A MAN *fist pump, punches a guy*
go for the gargamel look

Dont cling to your hair
It'll make it harder in five years time to cut off the straggly mess that you tenderly sort every morning. Whip it off mate, its the kindest thing to do
Get it cut short gi joe army short
Lots of ladies dig bald men, get a Rooney , use that foam stuff they sell in boots for 40 quid a bottle accept your baldness the worrying and stressing over it will only make it worse
Biotin or fish oil
um
Is it definitely hereditary baldness? No chance it could be down to diet or stress (alopecia?) If it's happening really quickly, it sounds more like the latter. Your poor hair/ head. You have a lovely face so you'll be ok without hair if it comes to that.
Hey! Don't worry! It might not be baldness!
It might be stress induced and untreatable alopecia!
even though having no hair and eyebrows would be fucking traumatizing
i would really love the lack of asshair
why don't you just wax your ring
or have it lasered? it doesn't hurt *that* much.
when am i gonna have the time or money to go get either of those things done?
if you go and get your ass lasered that's a firm commitment and statement about who you are, i just don't have the energy to go through that. it would just be a nice byproduct, is what i meant.
i get you now.
It is a bit extreme as a *thing*
I had alopecia and my hair grew back.
hereditary hair loss doens't grow back, unless you use that foam stuff that makes your nob fall off.
it could be
i've been living off of junk food for like the past month and have been to the doctors about things (still waiting on results of TESTS for diabetes and other things) and am working to change that now but i mean it just fits MPB symptoms perfectly so i think it is just balding but sped up a little.. my grandads on both sides of the family have/had lots of hair but my dad and his side of the family have lots of skin conditions (alopecia, psoriasis, eczema) and also my dad is apparently bald now (i havent met him) so yeah, i dunno. i might just get it checked out anyway for the sake of not stressing over it anymore
definitely get it checked
Also, I know it's easier said than done, but try to de-stress yourself as best you can. It might help a lot of health things. try yoga! x
thank you!! i will for sure xxx
being bald's fine

Get a job where you can wear a donkey jacket
It sounds mad
but my friend was in a similar position and took up daily meditation and various self-help things: audio books, learning to understand breathing and inner belief systems, that kind of thing. It stopped it - and this was hereditory.
Long hair 14 - 19
Losing it 19 - 22, Liberation 22+ in accepting the inevitable. Sure, I still have dreams where I've just stepped out of a salon but I've developed a look of pure manliness based on The Shield guy / Ross Kemp. A lot of ladies like it. Plus I'm convinced that medical science will have sorted this out in a few years..too much money in it for them not to.
just go for a wig
