I wonder who will replace him in the cabinet, apparently it will definately be a Lib Dem.
I love it when stuff like this happens, I can legitmately just sit and watch BBC News all day.
is the story at the moment. Which will disappoint some people who thought that David Laws might be brought back, not to cabinet but to a ministerial post.
as Lib Dems will like having another minister? The idea being Tories won;t care because he's the most able Lib Dem and is basically a Tory anyway, with the papers focusing on that rather than his unfortunate expenses. Or is that no longer accepted gossip?
that they will want to keep the balance the same, and only repace LDs with LDs and Conservatives with Conservatives. Given that there probably won't be a full reshuffle for quite a long time yet, it looks like Laws has missed his change for now. Although I gather he's taking over Lamb's advisor role, so perhaps that's the first step to a full return.
don't they have anyone who is not a fraudster?
- If Huhne still insists he wasn't driving (which he has said he will do), but she says he was, and admits her part taking the points in the cover up, and perhaps claims he made her do it.
